Bathrooms by Design was established in 1992. It was a natural progression for Mark Bridges, Director and Project Manager, who had been tiling since he was 15. He comes from good tradesman stock (a third generation tiler/bathroom renovator!), and in order to pursue the design and construction aspect of the industry, sought further training to achieve the specialised license category of  Bathroom and Laundry Renovator. He then attained a Waterproofing License which enabled him to successfully build Bathrooms by Design in Sydney before relocating business and family to the Byron Hinterland. He has had many years experience on the tools in both a residential and commercial capacity, as well as Project Management for large scale commercial projects. He has always found success in business for the simple reason that he understands client needs. Being a father of three young boys and renovating his own home, he understands the impact on family and home when undertaking a renovation, and is also aware of the significant financial and emotional investment. With this in mind, he will only accept high quality finishes from himself and subcontractors, and prides himself on a tidy worksite, minimising the impact of the project on other areas of the home. He is also committed to good open and honest communication regarding timeframes and sub contractors.
